Romp Thru Concepts Inc. a small publishing company is now offering a new service
aimed at providing distribution and marketing plans for self published authors.
Robert Catherine Vice President of Sales and Marketing sees a need for this service.
"I have spoke to self published authors and what I hear is, getting distribution
and knowing what steps to take to get your book into book stores is very
challenging" explains Robert Catherine. "Knowing what steps to take and when to
take them is something I learned when I self published my first book. There are so
many things you have to do in the correct sequence. If you don't follow the proper
sequence you can spend a great deal of money and get no results" says Robert
Catherine. The company's new service will take the guess work out of getting your
self published titles into stores.
Romp Thru Concepts' new service is called "Help Yourself".
The program has two components. The first component will determining if the book has
all the necessary ingredients and quality to sell. The second component will
establishes a distribution channel and marketing plan to get the books into the
stores.
Robert explains, "the reason we call the program "Help Yourself" is because the
author will still be doing some of the work. We will get the author distribution.
The author will still have to promote their book. We will provide all the
information and guidance required to be successful. There will be a small fee to
start and another fee if the book gets into the distribution channel. There will be
no fee if the distribution channel has not been successfully negotiated. There is no
risk for the author."
Self published authors can send two books and a marketing plan to Romp Thru Concepts.
